I know most of you all hate how the moldings around the bottom get all faded

Some pay big $$ to have it painted

What do you think this paint style would look like on it? it is a lightly textured glossy spray on bed liber. very easy to use-i use it on paintball guns

i have a DG fx and it has faded trim. would this look better or out of place??

This actually works quite well. I had this done to a previous vehicle's molding/body cladding, very similar material as ours, and it held up great. I liked it because it was very easy to clean, just wipe down with a wet rag and it was good to go, always maintained the dark/wet look which was nice. Now in my case, it was more of an off road vehicle though, and I didn't mind the texture. I think you'd want to make sure and go with something that's very minimal in texture and not a traditional bed liner spray. If done well, I think the example above would look pretty good imo, especially if it's already faded right now. GL

I used a product called Showroom New Restorer. Its a permanent dye. Its amazing stuff, I was going to make my own post for it really soon. Some parts of my molding was so faded, parts of it were grey. Basically I dyed everything plastic I can on the car. Lower moldings, wiper cowl, rear wiper, antenna and even parts of the wheel well. Car looks like its brand new again. Costed me like $15 for the dye and $1 for the sponge applicator and it got the job done and the results were fantasic.
