It goes under the car between the front and rear wheels.





Kidding....wish I could help. It's not that bad of an install, you should have a lot of shops in your area that can do it fairly inexpensively.

Bringing this back from the dead...I had a local shop tell me they couldn't install this on my 06 45 because of the Invidia exhaust. Any thoughts??
 
Hmm, do you mean the brace is hitting the large cat on the FX45 instead. If so, just add a few washer to space it out to clear the cat. I don't see any reason the Invidia in particular would be a problem.
 
I was told it interfered with the flange on the cat converter. Has anyone with the Invidia and an 06+ FX45 had luck installing the Mid Chassis brace? Logan?
 
I know for a fact the the GTSPEC Mid Brace fit on a 06+ FX45 with the longer cat. I have installed this on AeroBFA's 07 FX45 with Stillen exhaust. The Invidia flange is the same size as the cat, so its not exhaust specific that caused the problem. You need to use a one inch spacers and longer bolts to clear it. I'll post up some pics if I can dig them up.
