I've seen several threads about the gear shifter not wanting to move over to manual shift, but what about when you move it over but the vehicle doesn't acknowledge. It stays in regular drive mode even when moved over to manual shift. I use manual shift more than regular drive, so I'm wondering if the Sensor/Pathway for the vehicle has gone bad.
Anybody had this issue and can point me in the direction of the part? Hopefully not the whole shifter assembly.
