Looking to possibly upgrade to 22" Falken RT-7Ms. Opinions? Suggestions?

Had the car two weeks. Obviously the mod itch has hit me. What do you guys think of replacing the 21" OEM Turbine wheels with these Falkens in 22"?
Had them before in 20" on my wife's 2010 FX35. I don't know if these might look too big for her.
Also if I did go that route, what size tires do you recommend? 265/40/22?
Here are some pics of them on her '10:

22" on 2nd Gen is not big at all. 24" on 2nd Gen looks even better imo!

24's would look great on a 2nd gen, but the streets of Brooklyn might not be so forgiving.

I'd swap the turbine wheels for those black ones. They look good. I like the turbine wheels but IMO there is nothing WOW about them. I'm going to swap mine out soon too for 22's. I agree 24's look good but the ride will be pretty harsh, especially if you live in a area with bad roads.

Seeing your location, I would probably go with 22's so you could run a little thicker tire. I hear those potholes up there are pretty bad. As for tire size, I'm running a staggered setup and the 285/40/22 rear tire fills up the wheel well pretty nicely. I haven't seen a 2nd gen with 24's in person, but I think 22's look pretty good.

Go 22 and get a taller tire. 2nd gen have huge front tire clearance and you should take advantage to give it a dropped look while making the ride more comfortable.

Thanks for all of the feedback. Just sold the 20's yesterday so now I have a little pocket change to play around with. Decisions decisions...

Has nobody on this forum gotten these wheels yet? They seem so damn cool for the price. Wife caught wind that I've been pricing these up and said "you better not change the wheels on my car" but all I heard was "...change the wheels on my car."
