Locks not working

On my 2005 FX35, sometimes the doors don't unlock when I use the unlock switch on the driver's side door. I can hear it sound like it's actuating, but the door locks stay right where they are. However, sometimes it works ok.

Thoughts?

Could be the actuator going bad.

its the actuator. I had the same problem on my driver side lock where it worked at certain times.. I am planning to order my replacement from ebay for $200. Good luck..

Started researching, and found out this is a pretty common thing. Darnit, wish I'd realized this prior to buying the car, I'd have made the dealer fix it.
I can hear the actuators clicking, but the locks don't open. The worst part is that it happens with all of them. I don't want to pay $1000 to replace all 4.
