LMS Charger and Nismo?

Hi Guys,

Since Frankiago is putting up the LMS charger on the feeler, I am very tempted to go for FI.

Couple questions I have in mind wish any of FI experts can give me some insights.

1. My Engine is 60+ K Miles. Will my old engine able to handle FI like LMS? Currently one of the spark plug valve has some very tiny oil leak which the dealership is refusing to fix it without engine codes pops up.

2. Will LMS work well with Nismo Catback?

3. Professional tuning required for the LMS charger?

4. Need to upgrade the charge like Turbo did with his LMS for more bullet proof operation?

Any inputs are welcome and greatly appreicated. :.smile:

1. Leak should be fixed regardless (I hate leaks) I think the motor should be fine.
2. LMS charger will work well with the cat-back and even headers.
3. Unless you know how to tune, yes tunning is required for that UTEC.
4. I think the other guys ran them just fine with out busting belts or any other issues.
If you plan on changing pulley size then yes, upgrade it.

The inside of the charger is actually VERY simple and basic, I have some pics I can post later if you want to see.

I would call them up and find out who has an AWD dyno and if they are familiar with UTEC
