Light for Infiniti analog clock out

For what it's worth, the bulb I took out says V2. And I googled it and it's a T5 bulb.

But basically, find a LED bulb that isn't too tall, the OEM bulb is short.

Also, on the back there must be flat with a place to turn a philips/screwdriver clockwise to lock it in place.

The Neo bulb has that, while the other #74 bulbs don't.

Thanks for posting all of this, is this the correct LED bulb for an 03 FX...

I had the same problem this week. I looked over all of the replies and decided to go the Honda Dealer. Part number 79671-S7S-941 is an 8 volt 75Ma bulb that is in a base similar to the one in the clock. You might be able to just twist it in, but I took the bulb out and placed in the original base and had no problems. And they are $4.50 each as opposed to the $15.00 the Infiniti/Nissan dealership wanted to charge.

Found this on a G35 website. The bulb looks the same as the Infiniti FX35/FX45 so you should be good. I don't want LED's but here is the LED version:

+1 on that.

I got the amber incandescent and the LED just to try them out. The LED was WAAAAYYY to white compared to the rest of the panels amber glow. The amber inc where perfect, but I did have to file down the edges a little to get them to slide in and twist smoothly with out forcing it and possibly stripping the plastic phillips slots on the back.
