Hi I need 2 liftgate units, my old one don't hold up. I ordered 2 from China, they work almost perfectly for 150 USD except the height is not adjustable. That's bothers me a bit, do you have a source other than Infiniti (the units are made in Germany) which allow height adjustment? Thanks a lot.

usually the height is adjusted by you
manually once the liftgate is at the height you like press and hold the open close button until it beeps

@Jema68 it sounds like you've tried the method @skywalker999 's mentioned.
I've looked around and aftermarket ones are questionable. Chances are they won't be adjustable either as there's no information stating it.
Your best bet is to find an OEM set on eBay or a salvage yard from a low mileage vehicle. I did a quick search, found a few on there for around 150 USD a pair. Give that a try and hopefully it works as expected.
For curiosity, when you say they're not height adjustable, you adjust the height as usual. Then after closing and opening, it just goes all the way up? If so, chances are there's no sensor in those struts. I'd be curious if the same amount of cables are present in the new ones as the old ones.
