LED Conversion and CAN Bus errors?

Hi all,

I've seen a lot of LED mods here, but most of them seem to be on 09-12 FX35's without the CAN-Bus system. I want to do an interior LED conversion and add additional puddle lights/courtesy lights on a '13 FX37, but if I understand correctly the new CAN-bus system would make those projects extremely difficult.

Has anybody here done a full interior LED conversion on a '13+ FX37 or QX70 with the CAN-Bus system? Were you able to work around the CAN-Bus as to not trigger the errors?

Doable. No problem as I can remembered

I have a 09 took me about 20 mins to install the full interior including visor lights

Took me about 20mins also and I'm not that DIY type of guy replaced all interior to LED

If the '13 FX is CAN-BUS, then it will be slightly different and what works on an '09 may not work. But they make lots of CAN-BUS bulbs so there should be an easy solution. It's just much more sensitive so if the resistance is off just a little there can be issues. I've got a BMW and even compatible bulbs throw errors a lot of the time. Then if the contact is dirty or it's a Tuesday, I get a bulb error. Everything functions perfectly, but it throws an error message.
