Kool Vue power folding mirrors

Hi all, as u know the first gen F X's didnt come withpower folding mirrors
but saw an ebay seller selling Kool Vue power folding mirrors for 1st gen
FX's....Has anyone installed Power folding mirrors to their FX and would they be
plug n play or would modification be needed....Any help would b great..tks
 
From the ebay listing, it is a direct fit onto the door, but it didn't mention about the wiring nor how to control it. I know aerobfa's 2007 autumn copper FX45 come standard. I wonder if the one on the ebay listing is a replacement of such. There will be some retrofitting for sure on your 2005 FX35 that doesn't have the wiring and control.

I just went on Ebay and kool Vue sells power mirrors, not power folding mirrors. Do you have a link for powered folding mirrors for infniti fx45 2003 ? Thanks for your response.

Man those braces are dope. Breads a lil tight due to me needing some brakes and rotors. Let me talk to my money people....:love: and I'll let you know. PM me on a price. Now on the power folding mirrors. If I'm not mistaken the 07 FX came standard with them, correct if I'm wrong:tdown:. I was was going to find some in a JY or something, get the wiring loom because I'm pretty sure there's an extra wire in there, and the switch and see what I get.o_O:sick::X3::mad::cool::cautious::sneaky:

HI bro..These are the best braces on the Market.. Other members can vouch for them.. Lol... Upper strut is 239USD and lower unique radiator support brace is 199USD..shipping for both runs 55USD Tracked(4 - 6 days) PP fees run 30odd bucks but I can give u a special deal on both if u really want them. Braces take 6 to 8 weeks to custom make and thus is only a part time hobby for me and I also min orders to start production rolling.
I have 2 upper struts and Only 1 radiator brace left in stock so be quick.. Haha.. I can send more pics on FB Messenger.

My loaded 2007 FX35 did not come with power folding mirrors, but I sure wish it did! Apparently it was a V8 only thing. I'm guessing the simplest way to install them is to find a wrecked 07-08 FX45 and grab everything you need. I saw someone do just that either on here or on the old .org site and I believe the wiring was all ready to go, he just needed the switch for the dash with the button.

Dragonh- I have a question about your FSTB. Do all three of the stock nuts clamp down on the plate? In the picture, it looks like just one of the nuts is holding the plate down. Are you personally making them, or are you just a retailer?
 
Hi Guys, I have fx35 2008 bought power mirrors and the new mirror controller, install them without modifying any cables etc but seems like power folding still does not work. Any idea's ? Do we need a special modification?

I got all the parts but still not working. Do you remember anything else like resetting or wire work?

Hi bro..Shit..just saw ur message about front strut brace. Super sorry! I didnt see it..What exactly did u ask! Front radiator brace is held down with 2 bolts and rear brace uses the stock mounting bolts.
Let me know if u have any other Qs.

If they are indeed POWER folding mirrors. The probably need a power source for them to fold. I'm going to do the same thing just waiting on some mirrors from like a wrecked 07-08 45 to come up.
 
But I heard which probably wrong, 2008 fx35 are already wired up. is wiring some kind of do it yourself job or a big job?
 
It's not that hard of a job. I think in 07 you had to have had like the tech package or something where as 08 I believe it was standard. But don't quote me on it. The issue with this job is that you have find a power source. Your're going to have to do some splicing because your 07FX going from the door back of to control module may not have the pin for it. Or I believe if you get the wire harness it should work. But that may require a lil more work than splicing. Check this old thread.

Time to splice and dice. Yeah your going to have to rig this up or try getting the wire harness. That harness probably will be hard to come by used. Did you see the thread I sent you?
