KIDO COILOVER STRUT BROKEN-Chedman please advise

Not sure about the BC warranty, but I'm pretty sure the warranty on those parts has expired for anyone who bought as part of the group buy.

Don't know too much about kido coils but the lifetime rebuild deal with BC is awesome. I think it's $99 or so.

I've seen the KIDO side by side with BCs and the build quality appears better on the Kido but the lifetime rebuild on the BCs is a pretty cool deal.

I have BCs and I had them on my car for maybe 3 or going 4 years now. Still going strong. Knock on wood.

I've run BC's for 25K now and I bought them used with maybe 10K on them. Even with higher rate springs and running them as low as they go, they're still holding up. No issues with damping nor blown shocks. My only issue is that the driver's side damping adjustment knob gets stuck from time to time. Not a huge deal since I don't adjust damping that often.

I've never seen a Kido in person, but in pictures they look nice and the design is very similar to BC and honestly both are made in Taiwan in similar factories so I doubt the quality is very different. Only thing about Kido is that weird design where the shock end screws onto the shock body. I get that it makes it easier to use the same shock for multiple applications since you can just screw on different adapters for different cars, but I guess as real life has shown, it has a higher chance for failure than a 1 piece.

I have probably 70k on BC's. I think I need to do a rebuild, but that sounds like a lot of work. Or at least more work than not doing one.
