JWT Pop Charger for FX45 Information

is here any diy on this mod or is this plug and play...?
also never had one the filters need to be oiled?
i am confused if you can elaborate? for a newbie i am like a
5 yr old when i comes o cars... thank you
 
For your year FX the popcharger is a plug and play. If the OE air box is in place you will need to remove it but taking it off is easy enough. The pop charger install is also very basic. The JWT install instructions are well written but I am pretty sure I never even referenced them.
 
ok i just got my jwt intake while i was at my job...........
was slow so i headed outside and then did it in 15-25 minutes
but the bracket did not fit no where.... so i just cable tied it....
will need to ake my time on that and redo it.....thx guys
 
Bracket was pretty tweaked to fit but it worked. One of the bolts holes in the mounting plate will marry up with something.......

You guys think its about time to change?

Will be buying a set of new filters
Kinda scared to do it my self

I might over do the oil and mess something up
 
I have two filters. This way I can have zero down time when it's time to swap. just be careful when reoiling and you should be fine.
 
Reoiling is not tough. Just go by the instructions on the box. When used, it is normal to turn dark in color. Most of that will wash out easily.

This reminds me. I need to swap out the JWT (winter set up) for the K&N drop in (summer set up). It's too hot for my air gobbler.
