Hello to everyone,

I recently purchased a 2007 FX35 with the Sports & Touring Pkg. Loving it to say the least. I drove a 96' I30t for a year and a half previous to this. What a difference! I really like Infiniti's

I'm still trying to get used to the crazy stiff suspension however. I like the stiff sports tuned suspension and was expecting it when I purchased my FX - but it has been a little stiffer than what i was expecting. The 20's don't help with that either - haha. I'm not complaining though.

Welcome to iS! New springs will help to soften that a bit, as will tires, depending on what you have now. If you want soft, trade for a Lexus RX though.

Welcome to another GA member! Which dealer did you get the car from?

Yes - Another GA member! I actually purchased mine from a private dealer who sells Infiniti and BMW, LakeView Motors in Woodstock, Ga.

Thank you for all the other welcoming posts. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining about the stiffer suspension. I am liking it - it just takes some getting used to. If i didn't prefer it, i would have purchased the RX350 or a Mercedes..

Looking to upgrade the headlights and foglights next. Possibly 6k on both. Any suggestions on brands?

Welcome! And it can't be said enough, if the fx came with the stock Goodyear RS-A's...change them out for a more compliant ride without losing the sportiness and handling.

Welcome to the forum! Regarding lights-Fogs I went with DDM (check the DDM site) Apexecone 35w/55w full size ballast kit (stock fog bulb size) + D2s 35 watt bulbs (stock headlight bulb size) I also used an OEM snow switch and fit it into one of the stock plug holes down and to the left of the steering wheel (next to your other toggles) you have to break off some of the plastic around the clip tabs but it works really well and looks....stock. FYI - I ran 6K's.

No wonder you can see the diff.
I30 was soft soft. I remember having it as a loaner back in the day when my Q was in the shop. It drove like a caddy. The Q by comparison was very stiff. But that was a barn burner '91. The cushied it up in '94 & stole a bunch of power. I really miss that ride

Welcome to :iS:
