I also bought TSX-R Clear Lenses from Retrofitsource.com, im just still thinking if i should open up my headlights, i heard water may leak in and its not the same after u open, What you guys think? SHould i install the clear lenses?:err:

It'll be fine, just make sure you seal it really well, i.e. use enough clamps to re-form the seal all around.

There are many that have done angel eyes here with no issues. If you do install them, try to get a before/after in similar shots so we can see the difference!

I have these 6000K Morimotos right now and they are great. Don't forget about LED 6000K day time running lights if you don't already have them.

The driver's side headlight with the airbox was horrible to do, but now with a short ram intake, I have a lot of room.

Thanks guys, well i havent installed the lenses yet but will in a few days and oh yes i will take the before and after

so the first link Morimoto 6000k D2S are not HIDs?

Your headlights are HIDs, they already have a ballast OEM.

Your fog lights are halogen, they do not have a ballast.

D2S bulb is ONLY for HIDs and are ignitied and powered by a ballast.

Your HID kit has a 9006 harness but a D2S bulb and connector I believe. Therefore, I believe it won't fit in your 9006 housing. The kit is for a retrofit, I would call to make sure.

Hi Count Dracula,

I was wondering what made you decide to use the TSX-R clear lenses as oppose to the FX-R clear lenses.

Hi Count Dracula,

I got screwed on this and made them update their website.

FX-R = pre-recall projectors
TSX-R = post-recall projectors

I bought FX-R clear lenses and they won't fit my post-recall due to a V shaped metal on the projector. I called and found out TSX-R is the one that fits post-recall.

No, I bought them from Viet (Rookie) about 4 years ago through a group buy. Sorry.
