anyone any good ones where they might have fx parts.


i need a driver seat bad, lol dont ask why.

oh also i was wondering has anyone ever done a full swap interior.
i wanna go black from tan lol

Check wit turbocad. He's done his tan to the saddle. And I belive his carpet from tan to black.

I actually pulled parts off an 05 FX in a junk yard on the East side of Houston. Interior was in decent shape from what I can remember. Can't remember the name of the place - but you should be able to find it if you search for used FX parts around your zip code.

Might be cheaper to have the seat repaired tho - is it leather or mechanical problems?

I hung out with KNFX and he has the ALL black interior - headliner and pillars included. Since I saw that - I want to swap out for the same. Luckily, everything else in my car is already black except for the pillars, headliner & sun shades. Don't see any way to do it cheap tho. Gotta buy the interior pieces new or paint the ones I have, which seems sorta cheap. I know they make paint for interior fabrics...

well the seats is cracked and what not. but last night i was messing with the seat and kept touching the wires and now for some wired reason my seat just goes forward and backwards and it tilts.

but up and down not anymore... you hear the motor when you press but thats about it
 
If the seat motor isn't working because of the wires being moved around, I think it can be fixed. The seat crack can be recovered - 3 of my cracked seat panels were re-done in OEM leather for $400.

If you need a new motor/slider assembly, dealership will charge you $800. That's for all three directions - they won't sell just one motor or one track. Gotta buy the assembly, so the junkyard might be your best bet if you just want a piece.
