Actually no photo updates, but I can talk about it...:nerd (2):
I have mocked up the rack out of wood as you see it in the sketches and I soldered in the connectors for the RCA cables into the wire harness.
The wood rack I built looks almost exactly like the sketches above but it is too big and bulky to fit in the circular plastic tire well on the right side without trimming the plastic, which I need to hold up the finisher floor. I'm thinking about getting some small metal L-stock brackets and building a more compact custom rack - sort of "Erector set" style.
I did ask the shop to wire both a positive and negative 4awg lead directly from the battery terminals into the trunk so that when I get my car back all I need to do is attach the two ring terminals and the 12V trigger to my rack and I should be ready to start setting the EQLs. That is, after I have finished the rack.
For now it's on the back burner till the FX comes back which should be next month sometime.
