Hello all,

Ive just had my FX35 for like 2 months or so now, loving every minute of it so far, although i need new tires and have no idea what size, style etc... i have the sport package with the 20" rims, and when i bought the car the 2 front ones are in bad shape, the front are 265 and the read ones are 275 ?? are they all suppose to be the same or is it suppose to be that way ?? staggard ?

Oh and ofcourse my title of this post, lol sorry, i have the dvd player in the back and all the audio video hook ups, but the car does not have blue tooth, how would i be able to make an AUX connection or what wires/kits would i use so i can have my IPOD/ cell phone or anything else with a 3.5 mm AUX connection on the car where the sound will be best quality, i heard the FM transmitter device is not very good, its kinda late im tired, excuse my typos and if im not clear on something please let me know, thanks.

In addition, is there anyway to mod or upgrade my built in GPS ? and when you upgrade the GPS software does it change the look of the map ? or simply the new roads/routes.

From the factory the are all supposed to be the same size, 265. But if you bought the fx used than the previous owner may have installed aftermarket wheels and tires for a staggered look.

I don'y use an ipod for the stock entertainment package which sounds like that is what you have. The simplest and best oem look would be to install the nissan ipod adaptor.

No you can only upgrade the map disc for the updated maps not how the navi software actually looks on the screen.

Ok thank u so much for your input, also staggard, does that really make that much of a difference ? Pros and cons of staggard ? Should I go that route or not ... I want smooth performance and the car now is all over the road due to bad tires and needing alignment

If you're still looking for that iPod integration solution, a new kit for Nissan/Infiniti was just released from DICE Electronics. It's called the MediaBridge and connects via your USB sync cable. It also has text-to-speech, bluetooth streaming & handsfree, and an Aux input. It plugs behind the radio. Crystal clear sound quality. The model is MBR-1503-NIS for all 03-08 Infiniti's.

I guess I'm the first on both this forum and InfinitiFX dot org because I couldn't find any info anywhere on it until I got on the phone with the DICE techs. Go over to the .org and look in their audio/video/nav forum for my detailed review. I can't post images or links here yet otherwise I'd post it. It's not the cheapest kit but by far the best I've used for the FX.
