iPod connector in center console

Does anyone else have their iPod connector in the center console like mine? I have an 08 with the tech package. I just found it weird that it was in there because all the other Fx's we looked at it was in the glove box. I am not complaining since this is a much better location for it imo. Just wondering if others have the same thing.

Should not matter, it depends on which ipod adapter the previous owner installed. As long as it works your good!
