iPod connection not working

I have an issue with my iPod/iPhone USB port. I plug my iPhone and after a few minutes I lose audio. Have to either reconnect my iPhone or keep changing source to go back to iPhone, same thing happens with my wife's iPhone. Any ideas?

Maybe change the cable.

Got it checked out by the dealer. Its a known issue and Infiniti blames Apple for it. Well.....

Right. Sorry I didn't respond.

I have an iPod Touch, first generation. Half the time, it fails to connect, getting a "check flash drive" error. Plugging and unplugging it seems to help. In any case, the interface is slow and buggy anyway ("NO TITLE"!).

Personally, I also blame apple. The interface should be standard and stay standard, and it isn't.

i have the same problem when i plug my iphone, it will play through the iphone speakers and drives me crazy, what should i do ? :mad.:
