hi everyone, i just picked up a 2008 fx35 awd with EVERYTHING. it has the bose stereo and even a factory ipod connector. here's the weird thing, an ipod works perfectly fine when plugged in, but it does nothing when i plug in my phone. i wouldn't mind just using the old school iPod, but I want to use my iPhone so that i can choose what i want to listen to without scrolling and clicking through menus. I am pretty close to buying the iSimple, but i don't want to kill off my factory XM just to buy an aftermarket XM. i would be perfectly happy if i could somehow convert the iPod plug to a standard headphone jack plug. i tried asking the dealer.... they were totally clueless. Is there any way i can get what i want without sacrificing functionality?
