Iphone 6 and bluetooth issues

Iphone 6 with the latest update, will say its connecting but takes a while,(3min) and sometimes I have to turn off both Bluetooth (fx and phone) then wait for autoconnect to do its thing.

Now the latest issue is if I play a song from my phone it will think its a voice call and play it like that. I shut off the Bluetooth on my phone and reconnect and it still thinks its a voice call.

So I plug it in to usb and all works fine obviously. Is there anyone else with this issue?

Hi Prelude,
I have some issues from time to time with the Bluetooth on my car and iPhone 6 too. I have a USB/lightning cable hooked up and just plug in my phone to play music, and it charges my phone at the same time so it kills 2 birds with one stone for me. I've found the connection better for playing music than Bluetooth, but I don't really have issues with making calls though. Not really a fix, but hope this helps.

I have issues as well with the Bluetooth and even the Lightning cable where I cant skip through songs and scroll through my call list and what not. The dealer told me it has to do with the iphone and recent updates. The service advisor also told me this is happening on other Infiniti vehicles as well.... So annoying

Hey guys,

I work in IT and many of my users are complaining about this exact thing with the iPhone 6. It is a widely reported issue, and it's true that it would be on Apple's head to fix it (no doubt it's a problem with the driver for the bluetooth chipset).

Can't post URLs quite yet, but searching google for "bluetooth iphone 6 problem car" returns a few articles with some troubleshooting steps. Try forgetting the car in the bluetooth pairing, turning off the ihpone, restarting the phone, turning bluetooth back on, and re-pairing.

Hope this helps,

Matt
