Invidia CBE customization

Hey guys. As a lot of you know, the Invidia Gemini is a great exhaust system for the VQ motor cars. Great gains and smooth, clean sound. I am getting very used to it now and I am looking for a upgrade. I am about to purchase HFCs but I want to mess with the CBE first. The Invidia has a criss cross style axleback with big mufflers. I look at this part as a restriction? Correct me if I am wrong. But I want to get a straight through style muffler like the Ark but with smaller mufflers. I do not plan on chopping up my Invidia so I will probably just remove the axleback, find 2 flanges and work from there. Will this increase the sound? Will it increase/decrease power? The biggest concern I have with the Invidia CBE is that it loses the rumble at 4k rpm. Call me ricer or whatever for wanting more sound, but I really need more LOUD lol. Thanks

Just put the HFC's in. If you still want more loud than that afterwards, then you can mess with the exhaust.

It's not a restriction, the mufflers are still straight through. They are just lined up sideways for packaging reasons. There's no power gains to be had that far back in the system. If you pulled me mufflers entirely and ran it, you wouldn't see any gains vs. the Invidia mufflers. So if you want more power and sound, get the HFCs.
