Interior swaps!?!

Has any put newer style seating in the first gen Fx to add cooled seats or put M series seats (05-06) with Bose in the seats? Will the newer FX seats fit(09-12)? Reason asking is my driver seat bottom is screwed up and my passenger seat heater doesn't work!

From what I know, no one did the second gen seats in Gen 1 (there are several topics here about it, though). There are couple people who fit some other seats, though. Lookup member Raymond (from Holland) he put Audi S4 seats in his first gen FX. Your biggest problem would be to figure out the wiring. I was contemplating doing this for awhile now, as I have several issues with my seat (movement, tear-ups), but I am hesitant to drop $800 or so for a pair of seats to just find out none of the functions will be available...

Well I can get a full front and rear 09 set up for $1000 but didn't know if it would be too much modifications! I'm not worried about wiring so much, beside the cooling option. LOL
 
I've been looking into this as well. My driver seat has already been patched once and needs to be repaired again. The passenger seat isn't in the best condition but is holding up better since it doesn't get as much use, but could still use a refresh.
If anybody has somewhat recently swapped in newer gen seats, or completely new seats (Audi/Mercedes/BMW/etc. seats) into a 2007 FX35 please let us know. Like mishanja said, I'm hesitant to spend the money, do the work to get them in there, just to find out they do not fit or none of the features work.
I did come across the custom Katzkin interior & seat covers, but they aren't cheap, and aren't exactly what i'm looking for.
