So I live up in frigid New England where it is a common practice to warm up our cars in the mornings. I have an aftermarket remote starter that I keep in the house and I use this to fire her up in the mornings. I did so the other day and went on my way to my destination... little did I know that my other set of keys were within range of the vehicle in a coat pocket that I did not take with me, the door let me unlock it and I was on my way.. go to my destination and went to leave... guess what?!?!?! I couldnt' start my FX due to my key being miles away... yeah you need to be on your toes with the intelligent key system for sure, you'd think that the "key" light on the dash would flash at you once you drive out of range..... I had to then borrow my friends Tahoe and drive to my house to retrieve the key, and noticed her gas guage was near empty, the nice thing to do... you guessed it I filled up her tank for her and it sure brightened her day!
