Installing factory Navigation on my 05 FX35? Possible or just a dream :)?

Hello! I just purchased a 05 Infiniti FX35 which does not have navigation system, only Bose audio (orange screen). I see on ebay that people are selling navigation color screens, so I am curious if I can install one, and have navigation unit? What are all the parts that I need? Is the screen all that I need and then dealership will do the rest? I called one dealership near Chicago and the guy didn't know anything about that. Thanks
 
possible yes, practical no... you need a whole lot more than just the screen and head unit... it would be cheaper and easier to sell your fx and buy one with nav tbh, or just go aftermarket really which is the only practical solution in your case really...
 
Your going to need the headunit, navi player under the passenger seat, and the wire harness. It's just not cost effective to do this. Look around here, many people have moved their orange unit down or up into the headliner. Then they install a nice double din Alpine unit which blows the stock unit away.
 
I had a factory nav in my 04. Used it once.... When I bought it and was coming home from the dealer. The older non-touch screen navigations are pain in the butt to use. I always ended up using my iPhone. The only nice feature was the bird view mode. Not to say a color screen is much nicer then the orange....
 
And, how about if I buy that color screen, can it be used instead the orange one? I was thinking if I buy a backup camera, can I connect it there? Or, I'm gonna end up buying a backup camera and interior mirror with screen (since, for now, it's really hard for me to park this car)
