After fixing the 3 of my doors with the $5 actuator kit, I'm having problems with my read driver side door lock not working on the inside with the child lock off. My actuators all work now.
Diagnosis of problem:
I can open the door from inside, if I don't mess with the lock from the inside by just pressing opening the handle.
Problem occurs when I manually lock the rear driver side by clicking lock from the inside by hand, then unlock, after it wont open unless I unlock it with the key fob.
I'm pretty sure its either the lock cable or the lock unit acting up. When I test the cable, i don't hear the "click" we usually hear pulling it.
Right now, it seems like only the actuator cable lock is helping open or closing the lock.
Any help appreciated.
