Infiniti disappoints again. I thought the next QX80 was going to be a new generation based on the monograph concept, finally following with new models for their entire lineup which started with Q50 and Q60. But nope, its just a 2nd refresh of the QX80, so its nothing new at all except for the reworking of the shell. Don't get me wrong, this definitely looks better with the headlights pushed back to normal proportional height, I just can't get over how lazy Infiniti is with their entire lineup.

It’s a two edged sword.
If you drive an older one it’s cool when you wash it and it looks as good as a new one. Lots of manufacturers of high end cars only do incremental changes, but remain popular. ( Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, 911) different year upgrades often interchange with a little imagination.

But, I’d like to see something more noteworthy myself. It’s why new Infiniti’s don’t make the pages ofCar and Driver or Motor Trend whenever car of the year consideration starts.
