IDLE PROBLEM -Low Rpm at start-

After doing spark plugs and valve cover i noticed my start up was different.I dont know if this caused it but before i turned the car on i forgot to plug in the connection that goes to the maf or idle air, but its a connection and it clips on anyways i did it all over and reconnected everything i think as i turned the key on got a couple of codes didnt think anything of them so reset them took the battery off and turned her on. I dont know if maybe that hose behind the MAf has anything do do with it t(he one that connects to the air intake) but it looks like i put it on wrong i will upload pic. Anyways i turn her on rpm goes 1000 the 800-000 dead. i turn it on give it some juice(gas) and rpm goes to 1000 and stays there.

maybe a simple fix but heres what i tried if it helps
tried dong the throttle reset
checked everything looks on right



nothing any ideas?
