i want black chrome

hey guys.

I WANT BLACK CHROME. wheels, grille, and possibly the roof rails and all the other chrome things.

does anybody know what the cost would be, what type of place would do it, know of anybody in the Ny area who would do it?'

I don't think there's any black chrome paint you can just spray on but there should be a black chrome clear coat.. I believe for a real black chrome you'll need to electroplate chrome and black paint onto your wheels.. A couple of pages I came up googling for the paint version:

I guess if you're looking for a black chrome like paint, the search word would be "hyper black"

I had "hyper black" wheels on my IS300. In fact, and don't laugh, but I think it was the first set of wheels on the market to offer "black chrome," 5Zigen called it "hyper black." Anyway, upon close inspection, the wheels did appear to have a little orange peel, which indicates to me that the finish was at some point painted on (or I suppose clearcoated), but it seemed to be the finish itself.
