read this post. The cupholder was taken from Rookie's 05 FX before the interior update.

It offers a LARGER cupholder then my G35. Now i've tried using 06 and the 04 cup holder and it didn't fit. Is there a sports trim or something that i'm overlooking. I want a larger cup holder. From that post and picture it looks like it should work. I "borrowed" andy's cupholder which is a 04 i assume and it didn't slide in at all. Unless i didnt put enough time into "making it fit" i dont know.

The cupholders looked a LOT LOT larger then mines.
 
dude, just cut the front off the g one, it's really the same just the fx one doesn't have the front part, if you trim it from the g holder it'll fit the same as the fx one
 
if i cut it the middle part will still be a factor. Its kinda like a butt crack, you can see its limits.

Never thought of cutting and trimming it tho. I'll give a shot at finding one that fits for a little while and then go a cutting.
 
It wouldn't make a diff if i trim it all the way down but i want to leave a lip in the front to hold things. It might not, do much but much easier to get one from a FX. Great idea cutting tho!

Right now i can fit a 16oz can in there but not a 20oz bottle of pop. Really who makes a cup holder that CANT HOLD a 20oz bottle of pop.

Peter, I know I'm not much help here, but man, why would you even want a bottle of open liquid in your car, let alone a 20oz bottle of pop, lol. Accident waiting to happen. :eek.:
