Replaced mine a few years ago. Took all day for a Saturday and a Sunday. All I needed was the interior service manual and a couple of instruction guides. One for the glovebox/passenger kick removal which is from an interior air filter change diy and another was for removing the center console from a head unit removal DIY. I think you can find those around here somewhere. Never did a write up on it but I have lots of photos loaded over at InfinitiFX.org. The only special tools I needed were for removing the steering wheel. I rented a steering wheel puller from a local parts store.
