I tried to sand my grille so it can be painted ( by using blasting ). Chrome is pilling off on me ( my fault ), any advices how to remove the chrome (easier) or to save the grille.
Your advice will be appreciated. Paul :tears::tears::tears:

at first I just want to make smooth surface because it had too much chips on it, but chrome came off LOL. Now want to remove all the chrome but not that easy.:tdown:

anything I can do to save the grille?. OR just order a new ones ????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Just rough up the chrome enough and try and paint it. I would just make sure there aren't any noticeable flakes and give it a shot. I painted one of my wheels right over the current paint and it seemed to work fine.
 
if so I might need to use the body-filler (stuffs they use to fill-up the body B4 they paint )
to make it work HUUUUMMMMMM I hate myself when digging this deep.................

Thank you Stulax18 for be here. I took it back to the shop and spend more than an hour to sand it down by hands, wooooow it looks much better now. Think I can paint it tomorrow, but did ordered a new grille from Autoanything.com for $179.00 and some changes ( too bad ).
But anyway I am much happy now. Paul.
 
Awesome, glad it all worked out. Did you get an OEM grille for that price? Too bad you're not '06 or I would buy it from you to paint myself.
