so I have a 2004 infiniti fx35 I just changed the tie rods in my car and got an alignment after a day or two I noticed that at high speed my car fishtails in the rear and rocks itself side to side after hitting or turning the wheels at high speed I need help ASAP please this is so dangerous to drive.

I would take it back to the place you got the alignment and tell them what it is doing. Let them check out the rest of the suspension components. As apparently your tie rods were worn / loose they is most likely some other parts that are also worn and need replacement.

I went back three times to get a realignment every other suspension part was checked in the rear since that's where I feel it most but I will go back today and ask them to make sure. All il try to get wheel balance should I do all four cause last time they only did the two front ones.

If I'm reading this correctly, you had the tie rods (front end) replaced and an alignment done on all four? And now when you're driving high speed and making a turn your car fishtails..

Do you have any modifications done to the suspension? lowered? camber kits?

Since we don't have the full picture here, how's the tires?

What comes to mind is the following...

- Rear alignment incorrect, tires not sitting properly causing loss of traction on turns. The back wheels should always slant slightly so that on turns the wheel in the opposing direction sits flat.

- Sway bar disconnected/end links broken

- The bolts used for aligning are not tightening completely leaving them loose

I'm guessing the first point most likely, the mechanic would have to be retarded to not realize the last two but hey...I've seen my fair share ;) report back on what happens!

How many miles on your 04? If your struts and shocks still original ones that comes with car. That may be the problem. Worn rear shocks will have that ride feels to it.

That really sounds like the normal underdamped rear shocks on the FX. You didn't notice before that when you hit bumps it would rock/twist? Did anything else change besides the tie rods and alignment? Why did they balance the tires, were they replaced?

this happened to me once, bad alignment due to bad calibration of the alignment machine. The rear of your car is either toed in or out and too much negative camber. Take it to another alignment shop after your done there get the receipt and go to the alignment place you went before and get a refund

So I just came back from the mechanic everything seem to be good all control arms and bushing the case was the rear shocks they were still oem from the factory thank you guys so much let's hope it stops once I get my coilovers in.

go to a different alignment place, trust me. The mechanica are using a bad alignment rack. I had the same issue with the dealer they aligned it 2 times with the same problem (rear fishtailing).
