I just fell in love- new AP Racing Radi-CAL

It is possible that Kido does it differently now as well. All the stuff I was referencing was 2-3 years old at least I think.

Rip's BBK did look different from the older versions, but not radically so:

Those PB's might have to be my next purchase... love the site interface as well. I like how I can see them behind my GTR rims in a mockup :)

I noticed that as well, awesome! Only thing is it doesn't seem to change rotor size when you choose different options, only caliper size.

I did buy the PB brakes. Everyone is saying they suck but I did spend the money on them. I had Brembo's on my Sierra prior to this vehicle and I loved them. After using the PB Brakes the last 1.5 years (30k miles) I have had the same reaction. They do an extraordinary job in braking. I am only talking from my own experience having used them for awhile now...

Those are pretty nice brakes. Like, very nice, but on the FX??
Unless you're running some crazy speeds, the best value has got to be the Akebonos.
I took them to the track and they look good & stop even better.
. . Now if could only find a softer tire. This is my weak spot. I'm skating around way too much on the Kooks.

But totally my fault for running a bald tire. Didn't have time to get new set. :/ezevyqa2.jpg

Were not saying they suck. Get it out of your head.

You are the one that came in here guns blazing about how the AP kit is not worth the money, when I think that there is every reason they can charge the price they are demanding.

Those brakes should work just fine, and if you've had them for 1.5 years already with no issues then sounds like it was a good purchase.

Considering that we all drive Infinitis, I think it makes sense that people are willing to pay a little more for what is perceived as a higher quality and more prestigious brand, both in car brand and parts brands. Now if we all drove like base model Honda Civics or Kias or something then I could see more people buying something like the PB brakes since they are good enough and don't break the bank.
