Hydralic Handbrake for my FX35

Recently i had my vortech kit installed on my car (videos soon :DDD )
I removed the 4WD SOL fuse to make my system RWD full time
Trust me the car already slides like crazy
But i saw a couple of hydralic handbrakes on my friends 350z's and g35's and i LOVE them!!
Yes i know due to the fact that i own an SUV its a different dynamic but i believe i will have ALOT of fun with this modd
people are already blown away that my FX goes sideways... i would love to kick it sideways without having to power slide ;)

OMG im soo pumped i want this modd soooooo bad!! :P
So my qeustion has anyone ever done this modd bfore to an FX?
Wat kits doe you recomend (im not going to buy ksport)
is it a difficult install??
Im guessing that the install is simalar to that of a 350z ... but since i have a foot brake that may complicate things (in think)

Rookie converted to a handbrake when he swapped to the 6 spd. Maybe look over his build thread to see what parts he replaced? I'd guess that it would require some of those conversion parts to go w/ the kit since we don't have handbrakes stock.
 
Oh i really did have a feeling that rookie had some expierence in this ;P ... yea thats my biggest concern is that we dont have a stock handbrake ... but then again does that really make a difference? im not exactly sure how the hydralic setup works ....

btw tday i was driving and there are ALOT of turns that i would love to pull the hydralic brake :DDDD
 
Thinking about it some more, it may not really matter that we don't have a factory e-brake. The hydraulic one basically replaces the factory e-brake. All it is is a handle, a small master cylinder and I'm guessing some way to tap into your factory rear brakes. This would bypass the stock e-brake entirely. I think the only issue you'd run into from not having a factory e-brake is that it will be harder to mount the new handle since there's no place for it. It may require a little fabrication to get the mount onto the tunnel and then a lot of modification to the plastic center console (ie, lots of cutting).
 
ahhhh im soooo pumped for this modd :P ... he only has one hydralic handbrake in stock but its 500$ (without installation) :S ... i guess it costs that much since its rally spec approved and all that but i dont want that high of quality + its pretty big for my vehicle .... i just want something maller though... saw some ksport products for around 250$ here is the link to the pic:

Hahahahahahhahaa i really should post up some vids :D ... Im goin to borrow my friends vid camera and see what i can do!! ... Ahhh man i know my tires are going to get ruined seriously quickly :P
