HVAC Intake - Where?

Got a little funk coming from my HVAC despite new cabin filters and a habit of turning off AC (leaving fan on) before I get home. Looking to spray in the HVAC cleaner (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002Z2MKO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but wondering where the HVAC intake is for this car? Thanks!

Don’t quote me cuz I might be wrong, but I believe the intake duct for the HVAC is on the CAWL/COWL or whatever the plastic thing the wipers mount on is called...

Yep, behind/beneath the battery. Has a sock filter jammed into it.

^ Finally got around to this. Indeed the evap is right behind the battery! Very accessible. Blasted it with this foam cleaner, let it sit 20 mins until it fully condensed and drained out, then ran the HVAC on hot and high for a few mins to dry it out.

The evap looked new, my filters have been replaced, it’s a 2015 with only 30K dry California miles, I exercise good AC habits (off with fan on a few mins before getting home)... so I’m not hopeful this will do the trick, but couldn’t hurt. Otherwise no idea why it has a mild funk.
