A K&N filter cleaning kit is what you need. If you Google "Cleaning injen filters" you will get lots of info.

Go easy on the re-oiling, that stuff can get everywhere and can mess with the MAF sensor (don's ask me how I know this .....:wub:

Thats what i try to do. I first gently know the dust and particles out than, with a gentle stream of water wash it out. Make sure you run the water from the inside out. So you are squirting it out of the filter, not spraying it back in.

And not not dry it with a hair dryer. let it air dry before re-oiling it.
