A mutual friend's shop wants to charge me $400 in labor.

I know doing it myself is "cheaper" and "easier".... But I honestly don't have time or the space to do it. So I am willing to pay a reasonable price for someone else's time and space. Thoughts? TIA

$400 shop install is a bit high especially since it's a friend's shop. That's the street price around my area. It takes about 4 hours.

I got a quote like that from the shop that works on Porsches and has there own racing team. $400 it's too much for just a friend's shop, IMO

That's on the high side especially since it's a "friend". Around here it would be $300 on the high side and that's if you just walked in off the street and didn't know anyone. What would they charge if you didn't know them?
