Hi guys, I have a question for those of you familiar with Chicago.
My wife and I will be there for a couple of days next week or the following week. We are looking for a Hotel in the City Center or along the waterfront. I also want it to have good safe parking and I prefer not to use Valet Parking.

Any suggestions?
TIA, Wayne

I'll put Swissotel into this official thread. Everything has been perfect there, but I've never stayed with a personal vehicle. Amenities, location, ambience, and service are top shelf.

I've stayed at the Omni and the Amalfi and both were very nice and not too expensive.

Oooohhhh. Count me in. Although on a smaller scale, my fingertip still has a mark.....

The W, Four Seasons, The Swiss, Marriott, Hyatt, etc. are all nice hotels in Chicago. But if you want to make the trip memorable and spoil your wife a little bit, then go to the Radisson Blue Aqua Hotel. The hotel is wild both inside and hotel and is very centralized in downtown and has easy access to just about everywhere via walking.

A second hotel that is a must, is the Waldorf Astoria, located right in the heart of the city. As you pull into this place, you feel like you are driving into some French Quarters. It's absolutely amazing to see in the middle of a bustling city. This place is very expensive, but worth the experience if you are staying in the city.

What dates are you looking at? Most modern hotels nowadays uses demand based pricing similar with the airlines. Better prices usually are arrival days like Sundays and Mondays. Wendnesdays through Saturdays, the rate would progressively go up.
