Hot air from A/C for the first 3 minutes?

Fellow owners, on my 2004 FX45 with 107k miles, say for example I park the vehicle in the garage tonight, tomorrow morning when I turn the vehicle on hot air will come out from the vent for around 3 minutes or so followed by the normal cold air. The odd thing about this is that this only happens when the vehicle stays parked/off for long periods of time such as overnight. It doesn't happen throughout the day - again only when it stays parked for 8 hours or so. I took the vehicle to a mechanic and he removed some air from the system, recharged it but this is still going on. Has anyone else run into this?

FYI, I just had the radiator (which was leaking) and the thermostat (preventive maintenance) changed last month if this matters.
 
Giving an update as this may help someone else out there, my AC compressor is done and a new one is needed. Dealer wanted around $1,100. Thankfully here in South Florida there is now a shop that specializes in everything Infiniti and is owned by a Tech that used to be a mechanic in a big Infiniti dealership. He will do the job for "only" around $500.
 
Yes, he charged me $540.83 to be exact on everything. The only thing is is that the compressor isn't OEM but don't really care about that. The AC now is as cold as it was when the car was new so this problem is now fixed.
