HID Foglight Ballast Placement

Hi,


For those of you that have HID foglights, where did you guys mount the ballasts? I would ideally like to avoid using just the double sided tape to mount the ballasts. If anyone can provide pics of the ballast location I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much!

No, but to mount them securely the way the link shows then yes you will have to remove the bumper. Also depending on the brand of the HID kit, the wires maybe too short to mount them to high.

Don't use the tape for sure. It does not last long at all. Matter of fact, I need to mount my ballasts again. They've been flying around the front bumper area for almost a year now.
