I have a 2005 FX35 that has about 135k miles on it, and love the car. I have had few issues with it, and do all the maintenance on it. There are a few things I would like to better understand about it. For instance the steering column tilt and telescopic functions just quit working, I can hear a clicking sound when trying to use it like there might be dirty contacts that won't make the motors work. Any advise on that would be appreciated. The other issue I have had since purchasing it is after sitting in the seat for a half an hour my side will begin to ache. I have dealt with this by adding padding behind me but that isn't ideal. I think the seat is too narrow for my back, and pushes on my ribs therefor causing me discomfort. Has anyone experienced this problem?
