So my 7speed gearbox is sudenly jerkier than before after having the battery disconnected for like 1 month, so I've been looking around the forum and around the internet and:
1 - I'm looking for some shop to make the software update for the transmission. I live in Dubai and so far havent managed to get a response from the dealership on this matter. Are independent shops normally able to make this update? Is it possible to make it at home with some sort of VCDS cable?
2 - Thinking on doing a transmission oil change. 100k miles on the clock, and pretty sure the previous owner never changed the it, but I'm scared to have it done and end up making things worse, since I don't know any repair shop that I can be 100% sure they'll do it right.
That's the main issue, another less important one is a squeaky sound from the front suspension every time I go over a speed bump. Could it be the front suspension rubber seats? They're totally broken and I've amready got a pair of rubber seats to have them replaced.
Anyways, any help on these isssues will be much sopreciated!
