I've run into a bit of a situation while trying to replace my foglight assembly. I was able to get to the bolt from underneath by taking the plastic off and the bolt just keeps turning and turning. I've been turning for 30 minutes and spending the rest of the day trying to figure out how this will come out. Any ideas??:mad.:

Which bolt are you talking about? There is one bolt located on the top (10mm) of the foglight that is the mount. Then you push the foglight out, there are little clamps on the backside that makes it a little tough to push out.
If you can't get that one bolt out...you're going to have to drop your bumper and do it the hard way.

That's the bolt I'm talking about. Its just turning and turning and not moving a thing. I have access to the bolt from taking the plastic skid plate off of the bottom. Does the bolt go through a hole in the bumper or is it "clamped" on? Does this bolt have to come all the way out?
If I was to remove the bumper, how much more work is it and is there a step-by-step?

So...after a day of playing the guessing and taking apart game, I finally figured out what was up :smile (2):. The bolt that I was trying to unscrew and kept turning and turning, was the pitch bolt. That was the only bolt that was visible when going from underneath the car. The bolt that I needed to remove was on top of the housing (not visible) :mad.:.
Long story short, I didn't need to remove the bumper at all. However, I did learn a few things while doing so. Amongst those were some missing screws and some missing clips. Gots to go to the dealer tomorrow and get some, $1/bolt and clip.
The DIY on The ORG didn't explain the screw being on top :confused.:. I'm a newb with Infiniti and at a intermediate level with cars. I had a bimmer and a Lexus before and lighting wasn't as complicated, but the FX provides a nice working space!
Thanks everyone for the help! By the way, I bought a much cheaper fog light assembly online with Ketech. I also purchased some hyper-yellow fog light bulbs, 2500K for the color at Tunersdepot.com for $25- we'll see how long they last lol. I've always liked the yellow fog lights on vehicles. I will upgrade to HID later, but i'm limited with time due to a baby and wife wanting my attn

My wife had the Infiniti bright red before the blue, and it was hot! Got t-boned at 60 mph. spun around twice and hit a wall and she lived. If it was anything but the Infiniti FX, she would not be here today. Phew!
