Hi everyone,

I let my Dad drive my car for literally 30 minutes and something is messed up.

He said while driving home the car loss power and stopped working.

I'm home now and when I try to start the car it doesn't start and just cranks but eventually starts.

Now on the dash there's the engine light that's on, and the VDC light as well as slip light that's on!

Unplugged one of the battery terminals just now and now only the check engine light is on... but the car starts better than before!

Anyone know what it might be???

Thanks!

Take it to a local auto part store to have them scan for trouble code that triggered the check engine light.

I'm going to borrow my co-workers ODB2 scanner today.

Do you happen to know where the port's located in the vehicle? Under the steering wheel column?

So I ran the scanner. P0345 which is the cam shaft sensor bank 2 is passenger side correct?

Thanks

I reset the code drove around for about 20 minutes. Car shut off again.. and p0345 back up and on the obd2 scanner o2s and eva is blinking anyonek now what that might be?

Thanks

The link is the correct one. It is the left (driver side) one that you need. The left and right are two different due to mounting hole and the angle of the connector.

Thanks everyone.

This is a bit dangerous no?

Driving, then all of a sudden losing power, brakes, power steering out of no where...Geez I'm surprised there were no recalls on this! But I believe the do a recall on the g35's

Nvm

Put in and car runs good. Engine light off.. Thx

If anyone is changing their sensor and is having a hard time... push down the clip towards the sensor, it'll pop right off.
