HELP! 05 FX35 not starting

Just got my FX out the shop last night, was installing new air intake and noticed a wire for the mass air flow sensor had come undone. I had spliced into the sensor wiring for something I added a year or so ago, but when I was removing the MAFS the wires came disconnected.In a hurry I didn't disconnect the battery and just twisted wires together.Now my FX won't start sounds like there is no firing or no fuel being deleivered.I tried unplugging the computer for about 10 mins, checked fuses still not starting.Could I have fried part of the ECU or maybe the MAFS of been hurt.I know the round about price for the MAFS what would I do about the ECU if fried and how much could I be looking at spending.:iS:
 
why dont you solder the wires back, instead if mickey mousing it.
did you get a check engine light? (im sure you did) please post that also.
I would think your ECu is still ok, but maybe the MAF is toast.

did you wire everything back to the same color?

I got it working fine now, just took a break for a bit, then got it figured out.As far as the Mickey Mouse comment I have now crimped a male and a female connector on the wires, which would be the correct way to do it, if you ever want to return things back to stock.:wink:
