Hello guy!! got a major problem

Hello guys,

I'm new to this site. I have a situation here my dad borrowed my FX to help his friend move and he put some major scratches on the bumper. Some of them are deep. What do i do? do i have to repaint the whole bumper? or i can get the scratches fixed?:cry:
 
If they are deep then you will have to repaint the bumper as there is no short cut for damage such as that. But if they are light scratches that only go as far as the clear coat then it should be an easy fix from any auto supply store.

thanks. They seem pretty deep i guess i can take it to a body shop see what they have to say. But im worried if i have to get the whole bumprer repainted it might now match rest of the truck. since its about 4 yrs old now.
 
or you can add a bumper protecter on it. see avatar... I kinda just cut and stuck it on with some 3m DS tape. I like it:tongue:

that looks good. That should hide some of the scratches. But i got some on the edges aswell. thanks for the idea though. I'm going to try it out tomorrow. I know they dont have any for FX. where do you get the bumper protector from? do dealers carry them? or specific auto stores?
