What's up guys! I've been a long time lurker, just now finally posting lol go figure.
I own an 04 FX35, and you guys could assume where I'm going with this...I finally ran into a problem that is quite dangerous and have not been able to find any information about this issue, or if i'm the only one with this issue. I've owned the FX for 2-3 years now and now it's finally giving me some problems.
As I'm driving, doesn't matter how fast or slow I go, I can't stop. I would brake and the car would literally keep going. Ive had to run into snow mounts or slam it into park to stop. It's been happening sporadically and it's getting to the point to where I'm stumped. It's been an ongoing issue for the last month. d
Brought the car out to the local dealership to have them diagnose it and see what they could find and nothing. I told them to keep it as long as they can until they found a problem and they could not ever find it.
Last night, I was reversing out of a parking stall and it wouldn't stop. So I slam it into Park to avoid hitting other cars and then it would rev up to 5-6k and it would drop. I'm not sure wtf could be causing this issue and I would hate to get rid of my baby. Could it be computer issues? or any leads? It's going straight to the dealership in the morning and I just want a lead to what they can look into and what I have to do to fix it.
Thanks for your help guys. I appreciate it!
