Hello everyone

I've found myself in a tough spot trying to find a VK50VE needed for my 2010 FX50 S.

My local INFINITI Dealer wants 33K for a new long block motor.. Out of there freaking minds!!

I found a new crate motor in the UK. Complete ready to plug and play, including intake exhaust with CATS.. O2 sensors, coil packs, ETC.

But so far know one can confirm or deny if it is the same motor as the US. It has identical specs.

Hopefully someone out here might know??

Thank you!

That engine should have some type of data sheet with it that indicates the engine number, engine TYPE, etc. I suspect it's very close in spec but wouldn't be surprised if there are small changes. Interesting idea and I suspect that if there are differences they are small. Presuming you have a destroyed engine in your car??? you probably have spare parts that would be usable to get the new one 100% correct. No option to get your existing engine rebuilt? BTW, I've bought Porsche engines out of Germany and the UK with good results and reasonale air freight costs but it's been a while so I can't give current advise. GOOD luck and please let us know how things work out.

Thanks for your reply, I’m thinking the same thing.

These are the numbers on the tag for the motor.

Funny. I don't need an engine but I happened to see the same ad. I couldn't help thinking those are super engines and very well priced. I"ve still got my old FX45 and had to replace the catalytic units -all 4- about 3 years ago. It was so expensive I considered dumping the car. I notice these engines ARE complete and have the built in cat setup with it. I'm not sure about the various small bits but it looks like it could be a great way to go. Again, GL and hope you update us.

I ordered one, should ship end of the week. If it works and matches up I will probably buy the other two to sell down the road. Hard to pass up. thanks again!!
