Headlight Recall

so my dash is starting to bubble and i know there's a recall for that, but upon searching for more information i saw the headlight recall, Ive looked into it more but some places say its only 03-06 FX models when i have an 07 can anyone clarify it for me :D
 
Question....if you bought a used FX like i did, how would i know if the my car was brought back to the dealer to have the recall on the headlights serviced?

Your local Infiniti dealer should be able to give you a printout of any service, including recalls, that has been done at any Infiniti dealer. Or call Infiniti USA or Canada and they will be able to tell you.
 
would they still do recall on my headlights if the sockets are burnt and part of the
housing burnt.......... i did a dtrl swap... instead of using the led bulbs i used a
regular double filament bulb... the transparent housing burnt like and melted like an
ugly wax ........... can this be covered? if i just played stupid?and told them one day
i just noticed?^^
 
i am not sure i am the third owner.
bought it about 3 month ago however
i got the dash board warranty about a month ago
and they didnt say anything about me being the 3rd owner...
i'll ry to play dumb..... like real dumb.....^^
 
If they've been changed already, they'll know. Then your chances are slim. Each side, entire assembly, is like 1100- list.
Be prepared, they first might try & make some money from you
 
ok if they do that then i will just have to paint them and not use the dtrl.... dman
do the dealers ge paid by infiniti corporae when they warranty ?
then would't they want to fix it? ... just a thought..... thanks all for the inptu

Of course they get paid, but getting approval for something not covered takes someone w/ a magic button & Every keyboard has one.
